Melanotan, Melanotan II, MT, MTII, MT-II, MT2, MT-2,
What is Melanotan II (MT-II or MT-2)?
Melanotan II (also known as MT-II or MT-2) is an injectable peptide hormone used to promote tanning. MT-II acts by stimulating the alpha-melanocyte receptor, which promotes the formation of melanin-responsive sunlight. When a large number of MT-IIs are ingested in the recent "memory" of skin cells, a person is genetically darker.
When to use Melanotan II (MT-II or MT-2)?
Melanotan II requires a cumulative dose to be effective. Depending on the individual, the cumulative dose required is usually 10 to 40 mg, and more equitable individuals usually require a range at the higher end. MT-II injections need to be started at least one week before the need for improved tanning, depending on the total amount required and the daily dose suitable for the individual. More typically, before this need, MT-II use should start at least one month before.
Melanotan II can also be recycled to maintain improved browning.
In addition, Melanotan II can sometimes be used for sexual function.
A dose of 1 mg per day from the first two to three days, and if the side effect level is allowed, a dose of 0.25 mg can be added daily in the next few days until a daily dose of 2-3 mg is reached. This level should be sufficient for most users, although some people may want to further increase, perhaps up to 5 mg per day to achieve a very deep tan. Then use the maintenance phase as described above.
The starting dose was 0.25 mg. If side effects (mainly nausea) do not prove to be cumbersome, increase the daily dose by 0.25 mg as much as possible until reaching 1 to 1.5 mg per day. Most people find that this level will produce very pleasant results, unless you need a very deep impression, otherwise I can not see too much further increase. As with Melanotan, the maintenance phase is used once the desired tanning level is reached.
